very를 쓰지 않고 강조할 수 있는 영어 단어 정리

영어를 쓸 때 very를 많이 쓰는 것은 그다지 좋은 습관이 아닙니다. 조금 더 어휘를 풍부하게 하려면 very를 빼고 대신 더 강조되는 단어를 사용해야하는데요. 오늘은 engVid 제임스 선생님의 강의를 통해 very + 단어 대신에 사용할 수 있는 영어 단어들을 알아봤습니다.

very + 단어 = 단어

very rude = vulgar

very short = brief

very boring = dull

very good = superb, excellent

very hot = scalding(액체), scorching(공기, 느낌)

very cold = freezing

very hungry = ravenous

very slow = sluggish

very fast = rapid

very tired = exhausted

very poor = destitute

very rich = wealthy

very happy = jubilant

very worried = anxious

very thirsty = parched

very dirty = squalid

very clean = spotless

very를 너무 자주 쓰지 말자
